Ketchikan and Tracy Arm Fjord

Our first port of call was Ketchikan, Alaska. Ketchikan is most well known for its fishing, specifically salmon, but it wasn't salmon season. Since Mom and I aren't super in to fishing and Grandpa just doesn't do it anymore, only Dad, Colby, and Aaron went fishing. They took a seaplane out to a remote area, hiked some more, and then went fly fishing. While the boys were fishing, we went on a hunt to find some wild Alaskan salmon that would potentially be reasonably priced and easily shipped. Easily shipped YES; Reasonably priced NO. So we scratched that and ate some fresh fish at a stand and then went to the spa on the boat. I think we had a good day despite no pictures.

The next morning we woke early for some scenic cruising through the Tracy Arm. Cue Pictures...

Love how you skipped fishing and went to the spa!
