MLK Weekend

I love Winter Semesters for lots of reasons: first, all of the skiing/boarding we get to do and second, there are TWO 3 day weekends. Since BYU has no spring break, these basically keep me alive. Even though MLK weekend was about a month ago and President's Day is coming up this weekend, I still haven't blogged about our trip to St. George MLK weekend...

We went up with our friends Ryan and Lisa, and Ryan (Cobes). Ryan and Aaron went to HS together and roomed together at BYU their freshman year (and every year until we all got married), they met Cobes their freshman year, and after their missions, Cobes lived with them too! Lisa is Cobes' sister and soooo that's how Ryan and Lisa met. Anyways, they are pretty much our favorite married people; we hang out with them a lot!

Ryan's grandparents live in St. George so we stayed with them and enjoyed the warm weather. We mostly just chilled, but we did get a scenic tour of the area and got some red rock climbing in.

This weekend my parents and grandpa are coming to town. We'll be up at Park City again. Colby is supposed to get his mission call this week and so he's going to open it up on Friday when everybody gets here! I an so excited for him and for this entire weekend! It's going to be great!!
